Shawn Nagar - Chairman, CEO and Founder

Over the last two decades, Shawn has built three technology companies that developed innovative computer, networking and storage products for commercial and military applications. A winner of several U.S. Small Business Innovative Research awards, his last venture was acquired by EMC. Prior to becoming a serial entrepreneur, Shawn started his career in 1984 at Digital Equipment Corporation as a software engineer, developer and architect on the founding team that created the VAX/ALPHA Fault Tolerant line of computers. Shawn holds a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Pittsburgh and has completed several graduate business management courses at Harvard.

Martin Blitz – Chief Technology Officer

Marty has over 20 years of computing and storage industry experience leading product development teams at companies such as EMC, Shawn Systems, Digital Equipment Corporation and Kendall Square Research. Prior to joining KAPSEAN, Marty held the position of Storage Architect in EMC’s Celerra NAS product group that he joined after serving as CTO of Shawn Systems that was acquired by EMC. Marty has also served as a key technical contributor and lead design engineer on massively parallel systems and fault tolerant computers at KSR and DEC, respectively. He holds several patents and graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S.C.S. degree.

Leonardo Salazar – VP, Business Development, Marketing & Sales

Leo has over 25 years of management and technical experience in the computer industry. Prior to joining KAPSEAN, he worked in product/services delivery, marketing and management positions at Dell and EMC. He lead marketing and business development at Shawn Systems and played a key role in its acquisition by EMC. He started his career working as a design engineer at Hughes Aircraft, Digital Equipment Corporation and Tandem after studying towards his B.S.C.E at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Roger Gaudet – VP, Engineering

Roger has over two decades of industry experience in general computing, networking and storage. Prior to joining KAPSEAN, Roger has held lead technical positions on personal computing, NAS and network product development teams at EMC, Shawn Systems and at Digital Equipment Corporation. He has a B.S.E.E. from University of Massachusetts (Amherst).

Ravi Nene – VP, Customer Support

Ravi has over 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining KAPSEAN, Ravi has held senior management and technical positions in product development groups at EMC, Shawn Systems, Digital Equipment Corporation, Honeywell and Banyan. He has an M.S.E.E. degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Ashish Nagar  – VP, Indian Operations

Ashish spent 12 years as a consultant leading several software development projects at financial and manufacturing companies in the US before returning to India in 2005 to lead KAPSEAN software development. Ashish received a B.S.E.E degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
